Our mission is to help young people find a path to fulfillment and hope through practical and enriching activity alongside their peers.Â
Success may be learning new practical skills like furniture restoration or garden landscaping or it might be simply meeting others, making new friends!

"Benedict's Place" has been established to honour two beautiful souls, Benedict and Ivan, and to help other young men who may be silently struggling with their place in this world.
Both Ben & Ivan had so much to offer the world but struggled with challenges that only they recognised fully.
Both would want us to do anything we can to help others to seek companionship, purpose and hope.
Both would want to see others as being "blessed" (the meaning of Benedict in Latin), fortunate, lucky, comfortable with this world.
Finding direction and your tribe may take time but it is attainable for us all.
There is plenty of time for every individual to find their way and companions and friends for life.

Benedict's Place is located in Fabrica, Lynchford Road, North Camp. Fabrica is a social enterprise business based on upcycling and remediating furnitureÂ
You will have an opportunity to either work on some restorations or a garden landscaping project or, if preferred, just have a tea or a coffee and a chat in a safe, non-judgemental place.Â

Our first landscape project is to work together to create a beautiful outdoor space.
Currently, this expansive grounds area is a wild, overgrown space featuring an old shipping container and a retired portable cabin. Together, we are going to transform this site, designing a vibrant community garden for vegetables and greenery while establishing dedicated workshops for furniture upcycling and painting.
This versatile outdoor environment serves as the heart of our landscaping initiative and provides a sheltered workspace for woodcraft projects throughout the seasons. It offers a peaceful sanctuary where you can pause for a refreshment and enjoy genuine conversation with supportive peers.
